The Pearl district isn't just a dining and shopping destination — it's one of San Antonio's most active event spaces. From early morning farmers markets to evening concerts, holiday celebrations to food festivals, the Pearl's programming calendar offers something for every visitor, every month of the year.

The Weekly Farmers Market

The Pearl Farmers Market is the anchor event of the district's weekly rhythm. Operating every Saturday and Sunday morning from approximately 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the market draws over 100 vendors on peak weekends. The selection includes organic produce from Hill Country farms, artisan food products, prepared foods, flowers, and handcrafted goods. The market is free to attend and is arguably San Antonio's best weekly public event, drawing families, tourists, and locals alike into a vibrant communal space.

Spring Events

Spring at the Pearl coincides with Fiesta San Antonio, and the district participates enthusiastically in the citywide celebration. Special market events, outdoor concerts, and collaborations with Fiesta's official events programming make the Pearl a prime destination during the festival. The surrounding neighborhood comes alive with outdoor dining and street activity throughout April, as the warm spring weather and festive atmosphere combine to create the Pearl at its most vibrant.

Summer Nights

San Antonio summers are hot, but the Pearl's shaded outdoor spaces and river-adjacent location make evening events particularly pleasant. The district hosts summer evening markets, food truck festivals, and outdoor movie screenings that take advantage of the longer days and the community's appetite for outdoor socializing. Many of these events are free or low-cost, making them accessible to families and anyone looking for an evening out without a large budget.

Fall and Holiday Season

The Pearl's fall programming includes a beloved Dia de los Muertos celebration in early November, followed by the holiday season's most anticipated event: the Pearl Holiday Market. Running through December, the holiday market transforms the brewery campus into a gift-buyer's paradise, with artisan vendors, seasonal foods, and live music creating an atmosphere that rivals celebrated holiday markets elsewhere in the country. The historic brick buildings hung with lights and the river-adjacent setting create a magical atmosphere that locals return to year after year.
